THE CAT’S DNA IS OUT OF THE BAG…

Since it’s been leaked… I’ve asked and been permitted to go ahead and put a post up.  Here it is, the DNA-200.

Here’s what I can tell you.

This is much more than a 200 watt board. First of all it’s fully adjustable from 1 watt up to 200 watts. With a kanthal build you’re going to be able to fire all the way up to 200 watts all the way down to .08 ohms.

Of course, this one features temperature control utilizing NI200 or TI (out of the box) with all 200 watts available to maintain the temp of your coil, should you actually be able to do a build that requires that 200 watts.

It’s Evolv’s first firmware upgradable board.  So gone are the days of rolling, hidden firmware updates that early adopters of Evolv boards couldn’t take advantage of.

Supposedly, no screen issues on this one!  🙂

However, none of this is the exciting stuff. The exciting stuff is the software. Evolv has provided a tech vaper’s wet dream with the software suite. Connect this board to your computer and hold on.

I’ve seen the software, I’ve played with the software, and being a bit of a tech geek (surprise), I’m blown away by the software.

Evolve has opened up the brain of the DNA-200 and offers you a look inside.  You can analyze everything, you can adjust everything, you can customize everything.

This is a vaper’s platform.
This is an enthusiast’s platform.
This is a tinkerer’s platform.
This is an experimenter’s platform.
This is a researcher’s platform.

For those of you who aren’t closet geeks, and don’t want to see, or use, or even be bothered with all the goodies in the software, no worries, you’re still going to get a DNA board that is as easy to use as all the rest and one that vapes just as good at 15 watts as it does at 200 watts (not that I have ANY idea what that is.  🙂 ).

Is this going to be overkill for the majority of vapers in both power and features?  Perhaps.
Is it more power than I’ll every need?  For now… you bet.
Am I a bit surprised at Evolv putting this out considering their mantra of “solving the cigarette”?  Yep.
Do I think Evolv has some ground to cover to regain a portion of the community’s trust?  Uh huh.

More coming soon on this new board.
