On Thursday September 28th 2017, SEVIA USA held an Ingredient Listing Conference assisting it’s Chinese Manufacturer Members with the upcoming November 8th deadline according to FDA deeming rule. The meeting was held at SMOK Technology new offices in High Tech Park, Shenzhen Bay.
SEVIA USA Chairman Dimitris Agrafiotis along side Keller & Heckman attorney Azim Chowdhurry and Yun Chen, Associate from Keller & Heckman LLP Shanghai Office presented the current status on the FDA deadlines, update on the Right 2 Be Smoke Free Lawsuit and a step by step comprehensive guide on the proper submission of ingredient listing on hardware and eLiquids.
Present at the meeting were board member companies Aspire, Innokin, Kanger and Smok as well as members: Yihi, Joyetech, ALD Group Limited, SENSE, Horizon Tech, Ave40, Elego and Smoant.
SEVIA USA is a coalition of responsible Chinese electronic cigarette manufacturers concentrating financial efforts and resources to keep vapor products affordable, accessible and with the variety needed in order to help smokers transition to a less harmful alternative.
Moreover looking forward to a regulatory path we want to enforce industry standards to assure consumers safety and confidence in Chinese manufacturing.
As FDA deadlines approach we are committed in assisting our members comply with the requirements presented under the deeming rule.
We will continue to work with the new administration on a new path for harm reduction and vapor products envisioning a smoke free future for Americans.
