HOT OFF THE PRESS FROM THE FDA – Vaping Illnesses: Consumers can Help Protect Themselves by Avoiding Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)-Containing Vaping Products

There has been a recent rash of “Vaping Related Illness” reported.
With those reports, I’ve received countless emails from concerned vapers.
Why am I receiving these emails? Here’s why:

PISS POOR NEWS REPORTING
INCOMPLETE NEWS REPORTING
MISINFORMATION
FEAR MONGERING
FAKE NEWS

You know… everything the main stream media has become known for.

Now that main stream media has taken a giant horse shit on “vaping” many of us are running around with tiny shovels trying to clean up the mess.  This mess has been created because many reports used “vaping” as a blanket statement instead of  identifying the real issue… Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)-Containing Vaping Products

From the FDA Release:

In particular, many of the samples tested by the states or by the FDA as part of this ongoing investigation have been identified as vaping products containing tetrahydrocannabinol (or THC, a psychoactive component of the marijuana plant) and further, most of those samples with THC tested also contained significant amounts of Vitamin E acetate. Vitamin E acetate is a substance present in topical consumer products or dietary supplements, but data are limited about its effects after inhalation.

This does not affect the kind of vaping I talk about and promote.  It’s not the kind of vaping this website is all about.  Here, we discuss the use of electronic cigarettes by mature adult smokers who are looking for a far safer alternative to get their nicotine as apposed to that of a traditional tobacco cigarette.

Finally (now that the damage is done) we are seeing articles and stories correctly identifying the REAL problem.

If you’re a concerned vaper in the traditional sense… fear not!
If you’re one of those condemning ALL VAPING because of what’s going on… educate yourself!
If you’re a parent looking to BLAME vaping because little Billy or Sally is using shit like this…

Perhaps it’s time you stopped using the term “blame” and instead take some responsibility in knowing what little Billy and Sally are up to.

Here’s a news release hot off the presses from the FDA along with some other articles for you to read.
Hope this helps and vape happy everyone!
