• 1/14/14 – There’s something I wanted to mention in the thumbs down section but accidentally left it out. Another thumbs down and slight design improvement would be to bevel or slightly round the edge of the switch. Not so much that it reduces stability when standing upright, just enough to make it a little more comfortable to use.

A PBusardo Review – .50 Cal Mod Follow-up and heads up on the Tesla Mechanical

In this video we take another quick look at the .50 Cal Mod (this time with the correct parts 🙂 as well as a heads up on the Tesla Mechanical.

As expected, the correct parts change the rating to a strong thumbs up on the .50 Cal Mod. Just a beautiful piece, if you’re into that kinda thing.

11/24/13 – I’ve already been contacted by the manufacturer. Apparently I’m using the V2 “Batch 1” spacers and pins. According to them, the V2 “Batch 2” spacers and pins have been re-engineered to remove the battery rattle and connectivity issues. They’re sending me the new parts to have a look at. I’ll post a follow-up video as soon as I have them. More work for me, shame shame on them!!

• 10/4/13 – It was mentioned in the review that the N-Zonic is getting its airflow from the hole in the top cap.  WRONG!  It’s getting its air from the cuts on the top cap much the same was as the Magneto.  The hole appears to be for additional venting.

• 9/17/13 – Thought of another thumbs down on this one. The locking ring maybe shouldn’t have such fine threading. It makes for a lot of turns before the device is locked.
