MY TOP NOW!
Last Updated: 11/8/2016
Welcome to the new “MY TOP NOW!” page. This will be easier for me to update over the Hardware Recommendations, which is more of a beginner’s page.
This page is dedicated to some of my current top picks in different categories and will change often as I discover and review new products.
It has now been modified to focus on the Mouth To Lung (MTL) style of vaping which is the style I personally enjoy.
Consider this a “money is no object” page and price is not a factor when considering products for this page.
- Are all categories covered? No.
- Could there be newer/better? Yes… but these are items that I have reviewed or used personally. I get to items when I can and it’s nearly impossible to look at everything these days.
- Will you agree with all of the choices seen here? Maybe, maybe not, but that’s why the page is called MY Top Now. 🙂
Got an idea for this page? I’ll listen. I may not change, but I will listen. 🙂
The videos contained here are either the review video for the product, or a video that the product appears in.
Regulated Tube Device w/Temp Control
Although a somewhat complex menu to traverse, this device has one of the smoothest temperature control implementations I’ve tried to date.

The DNA-75 Devices
This replaces the DNA-200 VaporShark Device. The 75-Watt board is more reasonably powered board that does not require the 3S lipo pack of the DNA-200. It still benefits from all of the features and function of the EScript software which gives the user unparalleled customization options. Which is the right/best DNA-75 device for you or for me? That is yet to be determined.
I have a comparison look at several of these devices coming.
Single Coil RTA for MTL
Easy to work with, east to fill, adjustable liquid flow, stellar mouth to lung performance and stable temperature control performance. This replaces the Kayfun V4 as it’s easier to work with and fill.
Some of the new RTAs such as the Kayfun V5, Squape X [Dream], and Taifun GT3 have moved away from solid MTL performance in favor of restrictive direct lung and don’t work well in MTL without add-on pieces, parts, and decks. So for now, the Kayfun Mini V3 holds this spot.
For an inexpensive solution, check out the Digiflavor Siren RTA. I just recently looked at this tank and I’m quite impressed with it’s performance.
The Squape R
Clearomizer – Mouth to Lung Style
Easy to work with and provides a solid vape with excellent flavor. Another one to think about is the Vika Fantasy. The Vika is perhaps a little easier to work with as the threading catches the coil BEFORE the tank’s o-ring which makes misthreading a little less likely to occur than on the Kabuki.
A cheaper alternative would be the Aspire Nautilus Mini which will provide slightly better flavor than the full size.
All three of these tanks use the Aspire Nautilus BVC coil. I personally prefer the 1.6 ohm version.
I love this device for a beginning vaper! Good looks, ease of use, and an excellent vape. It may not work well with the thicker high VG liquids on the market now, but I’ve had excellent results with up to 50/50 PG/VG.
The Innokin Endura T18
The kit that has changed how I make coils. I’ve tried a lot of coil jigs in the past but working with them wasn’t any easier then using a screwdriver. I fell in love with this the first time I used it.
