MY RESPONSE FROM BOGE (LOOK FAMILIAR?)

Dear Pbusardo,

Thank you very much for your concerns about the quality of our cartomizers. We did note that there are some negative comments on our products recently. We find that most of the conplained cartos are blank, without e-liquid inside. This may be one of the reasons as we’ve seldom received complaints on prefilled ones. Our engineers have had detailed study on this issue and the following is our feedback:

1) Boge has never changed any material for the cartomizer, no matter blank or prefilled ones. Some people think that the fiber filler has changed, but actually there is no change at all. The only change is the condom. But this only happend to several batches in early April, when the original supplier of condom was out of stock so we have to use condom from another supplier, which was a little bit loose and shorter. However, there wasn’t any change at all to any material of the cartos. One or two weeks later we used the original condom again and everything remained the same as before.

2) We think the way of filling e-liquid into the cartos is very important. For prefilled cartos, we use an injector to fill e-liquid deep inside the cartos. The e-liquid is distributed evenly in three different places. In this case we can make sure that the heating coil is fully infiltrated before the users inhale. This is why there are very few complaints on our prefilled cartos. For blank ones, we are not able to control the users’ way of filling. An user can get the burnt taste easily if the heating coil is not fully infiltrated.

3) VG e-liquid is more thick than PG. So it takes more time (maybe 5-10 minutes) for VG e-liquid to go through the fiber filler and reach the heating coil.

4) Some users put our blank cartos into clear tank (like the so called DCT or F16) and find that it dosen’t work well. This is quite understandable as our cartos is not designed to be used in the clear tank.

5) There may also exist the possibility that the fiber filler is wrapped too tightly. But we think this only happens to a very small proportion of products made by new or unskilled workers.

No matter what the reasons are, we’ve taken this issue seriously. We’ll continue to enhance the 100% inspection system before shipment. On the other hand we are collecting feedback from our customers. Is it possible for your to send us several defective cartos for our investigation? We’ll bear the postage for these samples. We trust that we’ll continued to provide all Boge fans with perfect cartos whose quality is as good as before.

We thank you again for your concerns and we are open to any opinion you have about our products. Please feel free to contact us if you have any question or suggestion.

Best regards.

Stanley Chen

A New Boge Experience

So on Saturday I load up a brandy new Boge (two short condoms) in a tank and I begin to vape. I put it down and revisit it Sunday night. Too tight to pull through. This has NEVER happened to me with a Boge in that short a period of time.

(sh)It continues…

From Song regarding the “no condom” Boges that Rheal received

Comment: “Rheal purchased Boges from VaporUS and they had NO condoms!!??”

Hey Phil,

Just to clarify on the no condom on the boge cartos from us, its only on the
stainless steel SR cartos, all the black LR ones have condoms on them and they all
came from boge from the same shipment and batch. When we asked boge about it, they
just said they had problems with procuring some materials for the SS ones and that
it was packaged differently??? ( didnt make much sense for me, prob same for u) .
Since then my rep at boge has left it and is working for some other company.

Since then I haven’t done to much research into it, mainly because boges are really
not our main products or a company we deal to much with. But my guess is ether they
had a internal fight, started getting cheaper materials or bad batches of them (
doesn’t explain the different wrappings and packaging) or started outsourcing some
of their stuff to meet demand.

Hope that helps

Cheers and happy vaping

BOGEGATE

I’m getting more and more correspondence on the Boge issue. I’ve created a new page under the Knowledge Base section called “BOGEGATE”. As I get pertinent/interesting information, I’ll try to post it there.

WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH THE BOGE CARTOS?

I would say I began using Boge cartos two years ago if not longer. Since then, my experience with them has always been stellar. I’ve NEVER received a bad one. They have always been consistent, providing me with a terrific vape experience in VTF.

Now I’ve been hearing some grumblings. A lot actually. I’m hearing and reading people are having problems with them. I watched Grimm’s video on the Fusion cartos and even HE appears to be having some recent issues with the Boges.

One very nice person, William W. even sent me his cartos to have a look at after he was disappointed with their performance (all short condoms). I plan on tearing these apart and vaping them side by side with the older “long condom” version.

Since I’ve received my new batch (with the shorter condoms) I’ve had 2 of them fail. Burnt flavor on the first fire on a fully loaded carto. I also noticed some other inconsistencies as well.

People are contacting me on a daily basis now with their issues on them. Although I’m a huge Boge carto fan folks, I have nothing to do with them. Nor do I have any information on what’s going on.

So what’s going on? Has something changed? Why would something change?

Well the last question is an easy one with several potential answers:

1) New production lines to meet demand.
2) Change in materials sources.
3) Cheaper materials/sources to increase profit margins.
4) Cheaper production methods to increase profit margins.

I don’t really know the answer, but I do know that I’ve contacted them in an attempt to find out. Several emails have gone out along with some Skype texts, but no response yet.

Perhaps it was just a bad batch that went out and it will clear itself up… or perhaps something worse… (see the four bullets above).

Am I continuing to use them? Yes.

Let’s see how this plays out.

In the meantime if anyone has any additional or inside information on this that they’d like share and have me post here, please contact me.
