Phil,<\/p>\n

Thank you for the reply, damn that was quick. I should have said,
\nthank you for all you have done for me over the years, for the
\ninformation when I started this adventure 6 years ago, and the
\nentertainment and support that came along with it. I will give you
\nthe some back round here, whether you want it or not, so the short
\nversion.<\/p>\n

My wife wanted to quit smoking our daughter and son wanted us to quit,
\nme not so much, I really enjoyed smoking, so my wife looked into
\nvaping, tried the cig-alikes, you know the standard “eh”, then my wife
\ngot serious, she got me a sidewinder for my birthday, and damn, well
\ndamn, after I figured out how to build a coil, that one goes to you.
\nSo we shall jump ahead 3 years and 10 mods later, I find out from one
\nof his friends mothers he is smoking behind the school with her son;
\nthis was yelled at me from across the roller derby practice warehouse
\nmy daughter was at.
\nThe lady had a daughter as well, just to clear that up, but on to the
\nreason, squirrel.<\/p>\n

So I get home, you have kids I believe, so to yell and tell him no,
\nground him, I was young once and knew how that would go, at 15 as soon
\nas he’s out the house he is thinking hey no parents, so I looked at
\nhim, said I can’t really keep you from smoking, turns out he had been
\nstealing mine and my wife’s for like 2 years, that answered a lot of
\nunanswered questions.<\/p>\n

So my wife and I did what at the time seemed prudent and right, set
\nhim up with a mod, a tank, and some Heathers Huntsman, that was 4
\nyears ago and for him 5 mods and 4 tanks, and best no cigarettes.<\/p>\n

My daughter also vapes, low nic, helps her with her stress, won’t give
\nher age as I don’t want social services at my front door, she’s not 18
\nbut she’s older than 15. It has helped her deal with the stress and
\nanxiety she feels, I believe in my heart she would have eventually
\nstarted smoking. This was the better option , so to the people out
\nthere who would say I’m a shitty ass parent; suck it. She and her
\nbrother are happy, healthy and smoke free as are my wife and I, so
\nthere you have it, the reason for asking the question, for my
\nchildren.<\/p>\n

Thank you for listening, and thank you again for why you have done for
\nthe vaping community. And yes that was the short version.<\/p>\n
