I have a lot of people asking me questions about the software for the upcoming Evolv<\/a> DNA-200 board. <\/p>\n

Up until now I haven’t been able to say much, but I’ve been permitted to release some screen captures of the software, known as Escribe.<\/p>\n

Escribe is a software package used to configure, monitor and modify the operation of your DNA 200. It installs on a Windows PC and connects to your DNA 200 using the USB port. Escribe has a separate manual and tutorials which can be found on Evolv\u2019s site.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I’m not explaining anything at this point, that will be part of the review, but please feel free to check out the screen captures below and use your imagination. <\/p>\n

Before you ask, they’re looking into Macintosh compatibility and hope to have something ready by the end of the 3rd quarter (September). <\/p>\n

Oh, and remember, if this all looks intimidating to you, which it certainly could, relax… don’t sweat it. Use of this software is completely<\/strong> optional. The board operates JUST LIKE the DNA-40. It’s still a very simple interface that can be operated by your device. <\/p>\n

This software is for those who really want to get in there and play, tailor, investigate, analyze, personalize, customize, and just plain fuck around.<\/p>\n
