THE VAPOR FLASK BY VAPORSHARK<\/a><\/p>\n

I recently received the new Vapor Flask, this time by VaporShark.<\/p>\n

I’m really digging it.\u00a0 I like the new rubberized finish better than the original.\u00a0 I seem to have better control of it in my hand.\u00a0 I like the larger DNA-40 screen (so far, no glitches). \u00a0 I also like the new battery caps which have a “flip up handle” removing the need for a coin to replace the batteries (although they are somewhat sharp)<\/p>\n

What I really, really, really, and BTW REALLY<\/strong> <\/em>don’t like is the fact that I can find no battery orientation information on either the device or the included documentation.\u00a0\u00a0 Maybe I haven’t looked hard enough?\u00a0 Although the DNA-40 now has reverse battery protection, the device itself does not.\u00a0 So as an experiment, I installed the batteries the wrong way.\u00a0 This resulted in heat, smoke, and damn near vented batteries.\u00a0 Not good.\u00a0 IMHO this need to come with a rather large, in your face warning about correct battery installation which is positive side up into the device for both batteries<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0 The good news is the board and device survived.<\/p>\n
