{"id":9812,"date":"2015-12-09T13:03:34","date_gmt":"2015-12-09T18:03:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tasteyourjuice.com\/wordpress\/?p=9812"},"modified":"2016-03-24T09:34:56","modified_gmt":"2016-03-24T13:34:56","slug":"9812","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tasteyourjuice.com\/wordpress\/archives\/9812","title":{"rendered":"THE HARVARD AP\/DI REPORT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m still getting emails and Facebooks about this, so I though I post it here as well.\u00a0 It&#8217;s already on my Facebook&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The report&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/news.harvard.edu\/gazette\/story\/2015\/12\/popcorn-lung-seen-in-e-cigarette-smokers\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/news.harvard.edu\/gazette\/story\/2015\/12\/popcorn-lung-seen-in-e-cigarette-smokers\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>So this report comes out and all of a sudden I&#8217;m getting a ton of emails with all of your concerns.<\/p>\n<p>With no offense meant&#8230; where the hell have you been?<\/p>\n<p>This has been a well known issue for some time now and discussed numerous times by numerous people in numerous posts, shows, podcasts, videos, stories, lawsuits, etc and NOW you&#8217;re going to freak out?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<blockquote><p>Here&#8217;s the response from Dr. <a class=\"profileLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/konstantinos.farsalinos\" data-hovercard=\"\/ajax\/hovercard\/user.php?id=100004252812815\">Konstantinos Farsalinos<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ecigarette-research.org\/research\/index.php\/whats-new\/whatsnew-2015\/236-da2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">http:\/\/www.ecigarette-research.org\/\u2026\/\u2026\/whatsnew-2015\/236-da2<\/a><\/p>\n<p>And here&#8217;s another reason to question the results&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2009\/03\/03\/business\/03medschool.html?_r=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2009\/03\/03\/business\/03medschool.html\u2026<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve said it many times before, if this is a concern for you, ask your shop or liquid supplier if they&#8217;ve been tested. If the answer is &#8220;yes&#8221; and that&#8217;s still not good enough for you, ask to see the results.<\/p>\n<p>At this point, any reputable liquid supplier should have had their liquids tested and be willing to share the AP\/DI results with you. If they can&#8217;t produce the results, find yourself another vendor who can.<\/p>\n<p>Some liquids will still have AP\/DI but that information should be presented up front for you to make the decision as to whether or not you want to continue to vape it.<\/p>\n<p>Some have identified these compounds and are working to reformulate.<\/p>\n<p>Some have already done just that.<\/p>\n<p>And if it&#8217;s still bothering you, perhaps you should think about not vaping down 50+mls of e-liquid per day with your &#8220;Patented Octuple Fused Clapton Core&#8221; sub-ohm tank.
