Phil,
\n I typed up this long message to you on twitter but it would not
\nsend it to you due to the size so I decided to just email you. I really
\nenjoyed your thoughts\/hopes on 2016 that you posted. Us veteran vapers
\nreally need to think more about where we came from and what we can do to
\nhelp others quit cigarettes and other tobacco products. I have been
\nlucky enough to convert several of my closest friends and wife to
\nvaping. Even though I have gotten several people to make the switch
\nyour blog really made me reflect and understand I can do more. I have
\nused vaping to quit smoking 3 times now. The first time like you I just
\nused a simple gas station cigalike and then ended up getting a better
\nsetup from smokeless image and that did the trick. Then I was out
\ndrinking and drunk me decided a smoke sounded wonderful and 1 was all it
\ntook and then next thing you know I was back at it again. The second
\ntime Variable Voltage was just coming into vogue and I brought a VAMO
\nand it was much easier and quit. I knew what I was doing and the second
\ntime was easy. Again drunk me decided to smoke again and its history
\nfor me once I get nicotine back in my system and boom I am back to
\nsmoking. Now since variable wattage and voltage was around the second
\ntime I quit I knew all about Ohm’s law and resistance this third time.
\nI guess the point to this rambling of my story is this. I have watched
\nthis industry come from nothing where people were amazed that your ecig
\nhad a cool light on the end to where we are today. If I did not have
\nthis knowledge and understanding of history I would be overwhelmed
\nwalking into it right now. How we were able to quit using the basic
\ndevices we had years ago shows just how serious we were about saving our
\nlives and quitting smoking. I am amazed at the current level of
\nequipment we have now but its really a double edged sword. Yea its
\nawesome for us that know what we are doing but a nightmare for the new
\nusers. I am going to make a promise to you. I am going to do
\neverything in my power to help any smoker or tobacco user who is
\ninterested in quitting. I am going to make myself and my knowledge
\navailable to anyone who asks for it. I am going to commit to start
\nadvocating for this industry in any way I can.<\/p>\n

I just want you to know you mean a lot to a lot of people. For years
\nyou have given countless hours of your time to us. I just want you to
\nknow that I support you and understand exactly what you are hoping for.
\nLast I want you to know I personally pledge to try to do my part. Have
\na wonderful 2016.
